The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

The acronym is probably a throwback to modern naval assault ships, too. Acronyms for troop-carrying ships have started with the letter L since the WW2 era: LCI (Landing Craft, Infantry), LST (Landing Ship, Tank) on up to the modern LPDs and the LHA and LHD Amphibious Assault ships, aka "Gator Freighters". If memory serves, LHA and LHD break down into something like "Landing ship, Helicopter-capable, Assault/Dock" respectively... or something unnecessarily technical like that.

If you went along those lines, I could see "LAS" standing for "Landing Ship, Assault, Spacefaring" or some such.

Anyway I`d like one too :D

Though one with "H.M.S. Valhalla" on it would be awesome too :D

White on black ot black on grey are my votes, although I'm not that fussy (also I'm nearing arch-broke level, so I can't even say I'll get one for sure, sorry). Also, LAS please. :p

As for the Valhalla... Forget about HMS. The Royal Family must be extinct by then. Not cost effective enough for the Company to maintain as assets.

You Wish mate. H.M.S. Will be FOREVER entwined with our Navy ;)
We`ve yet to have lost the Royal Family in our turmoiled past,so don`t see it happening any day soon.
The Company would see the cash value for keeping the family going.

Doc,
That`s a very generous offer mate, lets hope this does help pick things back up.

Well, after my initial posting and all the back and forth on the "LAS" line, there didn't seem to be enough people interested.

BUT...if you are interested, post here. If enough people show, I'll try and get this going.

I have no idea how many minimum we'd need since I haven't talked to a print shop yet. I'd guess 12? How about we take it from there?
