In the first two pics the main barrel looks like it's pointing upwards, rather than level or the old droop, so it'd be best to get a full length side on view to check if it's level with the line of the Thompson receiver.
I asked this question and here's their answer ...
Im sorry we are gonna pass on this,, we have went way out of our way to do this for you, now its getting ridiculous. We will sell them no problemWell... rude or not, unfortunately I do see their point. Time is money, and depending on how much time they are wasting doing the back-and-forth shuffle with what now has been red flagged as a 'potential' problem customer, they probably figure they are better off cutting their losses -- in this case, a missed sale.
You must remember, the barrel droop issue is not MiM's fault. They are just the reseller. Since I am pretty sure you are not the first person to approach them with the barrel droop issue, it is highly likely that these HCG pulse rifles have already started giving customer service at MiM headaches due to other inquisitive customers concerned about the very same issue.
Although I do not condone the way MiM responded to you, I can definitely see why it may have happened.
Now HCG on the other hand, since they were the original manufacturers of this pulse rifle, I would expect nothing less than stellar customer care from them. It's their butts on the line, and their reputation. That said, I've heard from several people that any problems or issues they have had with their HCG products were handled with the utmost courtesy and professionalism -- from failed electronics, to broken magazine bases, to drooping barrels. All things considered, I would definitely purchase directly from them again.
In the end I'd say, don't let it disappoint you -- it's probably for the best anyways. There are plenty of HGC pulse rifles out there with sellers willing to share plenty of photos. Besides... you
really wanted a brown bess one anyways.
