Didn't the real one have 4 wheel steering, or was it mostly rear wheel steering?

Now that I've been thinking about a real working APC, it's kinda growing on me. If I had a million bucks I might try it myself. But in the meantime it's just fans throwing ideas around, so it's all good.

I really think my wheel idea with the tractor tires would work. Then you just strip the van down to it's frame and build it up again. Lots of sheet metal, but nothing my imaginary million bucks couldn't handle. The van's sliding door might be used for the APC's door, too.

The only problem (as mentioned) would be transporting the beast. At 11 feet wide, yeah, that could be a problem. But hey, it's fun to discuss these things.

I'll get back to you when I get that million.
