The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Gotta post up my support as well. Hope you don't call it quits, you've been a good friend since I first talked you to way back in 2001 :) Your 1/6th scale kits got me interested in this whole hobby.

Chris, we love you bro. Come on back when you are ready. It's not the same without you. It would suck if your last Dcon was my first Dcon and we didn't get to spend any time together.

While it's not saying anything new, I have to say, you really made my day at Dragon con. Frankly, without you ever being there, I'm not sure it would ever be worth it to go again.

Ripper
Mods, could you sticky this?

This goes without saying. We miss you and we need you back here with us buddy! :)

And for some odd reason I had this John Candy quote running through my head all day today from '1941' when the sarge (Dan Aykroyd) was knocked incoherent by a falling streetlamp pole -- so I thought it appropriate:

<span style="font-size:medium;]"I'll tell you what we're gonna do. We're gonna go home, we're gonna paint the scratches on this tank, we're gonna put the sarge to bed, and we're gonna forget this night ever happened."

We're leaving the light on for ya Chris. ;)

Chris, if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have gone to DCon.

Chris, if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't met all these great guys.

Chris, if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have become a Colonial Marine.

Chris, if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be part of the greatest, closest, best damn costuming group on the planet!!!!

Dammit Chris...I'm getting all new USCM gear and you've got to see it!!!

Chris: I dunno, man...I was the only Marine at or anywhere near DragonCon that you had no recollection of in your effusive post-Dragon lovefest page. And we spoke several times. I'm bitter.

j/k :P You, in fact were among the many highlights of my USCM experience at Dragon, and I was touched that you deemed me Marine enough to give me some of that LV-426 dirt!

As I said in another thread, a Marine never leaves a man behind, even if it's of his own choosing. Report in, soldier, and the first round's on you for doing this to us!

I'm a bit lost about what's happening exactly, but... if FNG's gone somehow, that's not good. :( The man's been a tremendous help, and I just received this morning his 'nades and knife and bits and pieces.

I'd hate to think this was the last I'd hear from him.

I think it would be better if this thread was strictly for the positive support of and appreciation for our lost member and not to be used as a criticism of others.

Such criticism could possibly be interpreted as a type of blacklisting - which after all... well you know the rest.

DSB I'd like to ask you to remove your graphic above if you would. I'm not taking sides here, I just don't want things to escalate quickly into a slanging match again.

Thanks.

Harry.
