The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Here's the article:

It was a pretty shocking, but not very suprising, thing to wake up to. He was just too young to die! He had a lot left to contribute to the world.

It's definately a loss for animal conservation, and for animal research and education.

I saw this on the news when leaving the Hyatt but I didn't find out how until halfway home.

Very shocking but as i've heard its the way he wanted to go. Just way too young. RIP Steve!!

He was great! And I love the comedy tributes that are popping up everywhere. Proof he was a well-loved celebrity, of which there are too few these days thanks to crappy "Reality TV".

This made me LOL:

Yeah... I'm still shocked over the entire thing. :|

Dom, Derek, and myself were doing some last minute wandering around one of the dealer rooms at Dragon*Con when we stumbled across an 8½ x 11 piece of white paper taped to a DVD monitor with a line drawing of a tombstone on it reading:

R.I.P.
Steve Irwin
"Crikey!"

For those of you who are familiar with the weird and off-the-wall stuff that can be found at Dragon*Con, we weren't sure what to make of it at first. But soon our fears were confirmed when a girl standing by us told us of the tragedy.

He was one of the last great heroes on TV and will be sorely missed by many many loyal fans, family, and friends. :(

Godspeed my friend.
Rick "Ripstick"
