OK marines, now listen up! (I have always wanted to say that), As some of you may know, members of the UKCM and Al Matthews were drinking far too much at the NSC event, and the subject came to cookery. As I am sure we all know, the Sarge writes cookery books in his spare time and here is the first of the USCM themed recipes that will appear on the Cookin' with Sarge website shortly...
There is one condition, they have to be tried and tested first. So here is the recipe direct from the Sarge himself, so get those aprons on and get on the culinary ready line!!! Absolutely Badassin'!!!
Arcturan Poontang suprise
Alright people, listen up, cos I'm onlt going to say this once! The kitchen is the most dangerus room in your home, treat it like a combat zone, do not leave handles on the stove facing outwards, is that understood? Good!
Into a large frying pan, lightly covered with extra virgen olive oil place as many pieces of chicken as need to feed the troop's. Fry chicken until tender. Cover with:
Finely chopped a large onion, 4 cloves of garlic and 3 or 4 tomatoes. Lightly season with sea salt, pepper, cover the chicken with the above. Put a dash of chicken seasoing on the mixture, next chop a green pepper and a red pepper (half of each will do) cover the chicken with this as well.
Next, we shall now add some pine nuts, chick peas, 2 or 3 cayena peppers, when this has cooked down, add a dash of oregano and parsley.
Now we put our rice (long grain or rice pudding rice will do) over the mixture, which you will cover with boiling water, now add colorente or saffron if you can afford it (very expensive, is saffron), now let's give it a splash of cooking brandy, let it cook down some more. On top of all this, you will add 6 to 8 large shrimp.
The suprise is your's is a male. Cook down until the rice is all on the top, by now you should be looking at the shrimp, stir now and then so it so it does not stick.
Now go clean your weapon, that's an order! UKCM @ www.colonialmarines.co.uk
