The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

They deal with a lot of the chinese clone crap.

AEX is more of the cadillac store.

Crap man.. Does anyone have these? I contacted Evike since their site says 6/5 due in. They state it sold out already?!?!?

I have heard that G&P may be retiring this kit too. I have been to a lot of sites and not found the G&P kit in stock yet.

Hi Mike,

I've recently done the same thing and looked around for the G&P kit to make an airsoft PR. I took a month finding someone who had it in stock as it was so much trouble.

I contacted Wolf Armouries here in the UK regarding their out of stock G&P kit as if you buy one they deduct 10% for the wait, but they replied saying they had no plans to re-stock it whatsoever.

Then I sent a message to Monsters in Motion asking them about it and they replied saying the company were creating a final stock of 200 kits this month. ** They are shipping June 30th **

I finally found one kit at a UK company but if you contact him he may have another one as I bought it!! Obviously it is a kit so it won't be stopped at Customs as it doesn't look anything like a gun!

I've put some links below for you to try mate, let us know what you find out!

P.S - Wolf Armouries told me it required a high skill level to build it and the CD that comes with it is RUBBISH. But I found PVB's website and I have to say his step by step instruction is absolutely fantastic and the only reason I went through with the purchase.... thanks to Stephen I have a lovely PR!!!

Good luck....

http://www.monstersinmotion.com/catalog ... ts_id=8721 - WAITING DELIVERY AND SHIPPING JUNE 30th!!!

www.wolfarmouries.co.uk - OUT

www.specialairsoftsupplies.co.uk - WAS IN STOCK

http://www.medwaypvb.com/pulse1.html - INSTRUCTIONS

Glad to be of some help. :D

Hope my using the wrong bolts on a few bits didn't affect yours?

Hey Steve!

Don't worry my PR is looking great for your instructions. I read through them like 100 times so I knew how to approach it (being my first prop build) and noticed which bolts I'd swap round on your build, that coupled with your updates and warnings on bolts you had trouble with meant I got it right first time! So thank you!

Took a Spat Grenade and buffed it with Steel Wool and replaced the shotgun shell. My one was stuck in so much - took me ages to pry it out without damaging it!!

So all of my updates were confirming the right bolts which were wrong? Good. :)

Yep! It's basically all bolts that you can see when it's complete are hex bolts, all the screws you can't see are the screws. The three you updated are the one's to change Steve, good job.

And your pictures are so much better too!! :D

This is the direct link to the manufacturer supplier of the Monsters in Motion G&P PR conversion.

And last I spoke with them. I was told they are doing one final run of 200 kits and then retiring the mold. Luckily I bought one years ago.

I emailed MIM there just over a month ago and they said the 200 are all pre ordered already and not for sale anymore. Did they say the same to you Rott? Am on the hunt for one myself, will be trying a few new links

Hey kwalsh000,

I messaged them about two months ago and they had availability but I was worried about the shipping costs to the UK so I shopped around a bit more. Found one at Special Airsoft Supplies.co.uk so e-mail them and ask if they're getting any more or have any in stock - they may have just said they had one left to get me to buy! (Not that I needed convincing!!!!) :D

The website nuclearsphinx quoted above doesn't state in stock or not but it's worth finding out as they are cheapest I've seen. Customs won't confiscate it as there's nothing that resembles a weapon in it, but they MAY charge you tax for importing it, not too sure on this one.

Good luck on the search though mate - this I think is G&P's last run so after this it's either a new company deciding to take up the manufacturing, or an increase in the value! :x

Let me know though what you find out, I'm considering ordering another one!

All the best,

Martin

Just a heads up for anyone looking for the G&P PR kit, SFM will be conducting a gather-up for group order on them direct from G&P in Hong Kong. There will be a minimum order so we must muster up enough men to get it done. Stay tuned for updates once we get that going. ;)

No worries Karl, glad to be of some help.

Menatarms I'm definately keen on another kit to keep around so please do keep me posted on this. I'd need to know cost for kit and shipping to the UK beforehand though so if you are in touch with them please could you find out the shipping?

Thank you!

Martin

OK.. So I took a chance and ordered from Evike on July 4th, so the order really went in on July 7th. I did it then since the preorder was taken off on the website and I got 5% off(on-line special). I call and get told Oh I'm sorry these are out-of-stock again. I'm then told G&P only sent one kit and they are expecting more any day. Today I get a e-mail reply to my e-mail of ANY WORD YET?? Same reply I got a week ago basically. G&P is getting our order ready and it will take a week once they ship. I paid for 2 day shipping so I would get the kit. :(

Any advice from the group? :?:
Should I get my money back?
Does G&P really take this long to process orders?
Am I getting the "song and dance" runaround?

If I lived down there I could go and see if they have one on display and are just screwing with me.
And yes I know if I had ordered form the G&P website that was linked here I would have it by now :(

I bought one from Evike at the end of june on Preorder and Recieved it at the beggining of July. If they say they are getting more they probably will. I got mine from Evike for my new PR after they sold out everywhere else. So stick with it Doc and maybe try Calling them and getting someone on the phone. There Email CS dept SUCKS.

I talked to the owner of AEX on June 21,

and he said that he has 40 kits on order.

The delay with G+P was they had some model issues,

and had to do some retooling.

So probably Evike is in the same boat. I just don't like how they
treat customers and run there operations.

I'd say hang tight Doc...

Evike does have crappy CS. I had a problem with a VP70M and it took 4 months to get resolved. I talked with the owner after that and they said they were switching companies that use for Customer Service. Dont if anything has changed but I did get my PR Conversion in under 30 days

I did call on the 7th after placing the order and was told they were out of stock(again), but more were due in a couple days. After that I have been doing e-mails. The first on the 9th and was told about 2 weeks. I have received timely responses to my e-mail, but now it seems the story is the same.. Just one more week.. Just one more week. I have been waiting for 22 days now. That's just a little over the first 2 just one more weeks.
I like truth and honest answers. If they don't know when G&P is shipping then say that and chance the lost sale, but a happy customer. Don't save the sale, but wind up with an unhappy customer who will not shop with you again.

I got another e-mail this evening. They claim the order was placed for PR kits and a bunch of other G&P items and are not sure why there is a delay with G&P shipping the order. I was also told they have 5 kits due in, but not sure how many of the other 4 are spoken for.
