The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Karen,

One of our members already makes those and still has some available.

It might be best to check with us here to avoid any future embarrassment re doubling-up of product and/or toe-treading.

Harry

Oops, sorry we didn't know, didn't mean to tread on toes.

We hadn't seen any available online.

I guess we'll have to check next time

Be nice to see a run of screen accurate black/white/red Delta pins though.

If you do the delta patch, please make it in those colors. I am holding out in the hopes you can make the embroidered, accurate looking patches I have been holding out for all this time!

Love your stuff - keep it coming. People want it!

Edit - I saw you already have a red/white/blue Delta patch, my bad. If you make another run then!

Hey thanks for the comments.

We are actually in the process of getting accurate Sulaco and Delta patches, and in the 3 color versions as our USCM Eagle patches.

Hadn't thought about the pin, but maybe we'll look into that too.

any more ideas anyone, shout them out!

Karen

The delta pins have already been done, a couple of years ago now if my memory serves me correctly.

Page two of this thread.

CW Mock your comment about wanting embroidered, accurate patches is a little contradictory as the screen-used patches were screen-printed of course.

I know, but silkscreened stuff wears like crap over time under heavy use. I have had other silkscreened stuff, and it faded and wore out quickly.

Delta pins were done a few years back I saw as well. But a lot of people, like on this board, and those off this board would like to get them. If somebody wants to put out another set, I'd like to buy them. I doubt I am alone, LOL!

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to see anyone stepping on toes either, but its not like anyone owns the right to this stuff. There is a demand for product, and now more than one source that can provide it. Good stuff in my eyes.

Regardless of the long term wearability of screenprinted patches, you just can't make an "accurate" embroidered patch... because the originals were not embroidered. :)

It's like saying you want an accurate pulse rifle... made from cheese. Okay, extreme example but I hope you get my point.

Back to the pins/badges: Mike Rush has been offering limited runs of these for a few years now. Feel free to inquire as to which models he has remaining.

Cheese Pulse Rifle? Is it Wensleydale? I'm partial to Gouda myself.

HEY! I was the first to offer an M41-HH made from cheese! I own the rights to that. Anyone even THINKING about a Cheese Pulse Rifle owes me $1 per thought.

ROFL!!!!

Yeah, "accurate" as in they look closer to the ones in the movie than the current crop of embroidered ones. Proper size, colors, etc. That's all I want, and that won't break the bank. Embroidered will never be screen accurate. But, we can hopefully have something close. I like the current patches and the pin released. It's good to see somebody out there who has a love for the films who can share it with all of us.

I need to get an Aimpoint for my work rifle, so I don't have a lot of cashola to spend, LOL! I have my MAA 2PAT utilities that have been waiting for a good set of patches. I have not seen many screenprinted, or good embroidered ones until now. Some light at the end of that proverbial tunnel.

From searching the archive, it seems the Delta pins ran out a long, long time ago, and there was no plans for Mr. Rush to make another series. Maybe it is to keep the current ones semi-collectable or something. The Delta is the only one I really want too, which is too bad.

That's why I was excited that somebody else might be making something similar eventually. Not exact copies of the other guy (Mr. Rush) but another version/interpretation.
