The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

These are some of the best images of the FT that I have seen and are from The Prop Store of London's collection.

Thanks for the pics Drake.

Glenn - that looks very similar to the Wells M16 springer I've got to convert into something for my Stargate SG-1 costume. What with the new laws about replica weapons in the UK I doubt I'll ever be able to get another one to convert into a flamer. :( Make sure you take lots of photos of your conversion.

Looks like a flame replica is going to take a lot of auto filler putty. :D

Customs, gross. Never had to deal with them, but did get boned over by a guy in the UK who decided to hop up his shipping price after I had already paid him for some of the tree house toys Colonial Marines.

Anyhow, back on topic...

I understand that the flamers had to house some stuff to actually shoot flame but why does this thing look like it was put together with playdoh?

I have started to build my Flame unit, i have taken my M16 apart and done some major cutting up of it , have noticed that the body of the M16 should be thicker / wider, so does anyone have any measurements ? the top of the fuel bottle would help then i can figure out the thickness of the flame unit....any other measurements would be helpful...
