So now candy is contraband? :roll:

I can understand the ban on candy sales within the school (teaching healthy eating habits)- which I would assume meant the removal of vending machines, and candy in the cafeteria (if they have one)...

But suspending a student for buying candy from a classmate?

What are they teaching? For students to learn at an early age how to be deceptive and covert? They did say the "pusher" was being secretive about it. :roll:

I also understand the need to teach discipline, and enforce rules, but this one crosses the boundary for me.

8th grade. Ridiculous.
