The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

You have basically made the Kyber Pass version of the SPAS cage! I can't wait to see the whole rifle when its done.

The Kyber pass.
Somewhere out on the net is a documentory showing how in the kyber pass you name the weapons and they are produced by hand.
All for sale at the right price if you have the conections.

Just to be clear, the Kyber Pass comment is in NO way an insult or jab.

There in the Kyber Pass, "gunsmiths" have taken European rifles and reverse engineered them, and in some case made identical hand made copies.

Which, from looking at what you have done - is the same thing. Taken a SPAS cage and made one like it from hand! That's very cool to me - I don't have the tools or materials to even THINK about that kind of undertaking.

So while gun snobs, etc might frown on a Kyber Pass rifle ... I like to look at it as an ingenious improvisation from an engineering and manufacturing standpoint.

I in no way take offence and take it as a compliment that you and the other marines take the time to look and comment on my work, i just didnt understand the reference ,I have never ever tried something like this before i come from a woodworking background ,before my accident i used to make custom furniture .the only hobby work i used to do was make museum quality model sailing ships ,am in the process of making a 3ft HMS VICTORY at the moment using actual timber from the real VICTORY "she is berthed a stones throw away from me"only been working on it for 3 years  i appreciate all coments ,if I'm gonna do it right i need your idea's experience, good or bad im the new guy here thats why I signed up,you dont buy a dog and bark yourself,I need all the help i can get marines
