The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hey dude...
Any more info on your "Proven arsehole buyer"?

Since I just got the following PM from him...

Quote:
Hello,
I noticed that you recently bid on and won a production sheet from 'Aliens' from the seller 'propcatalogs*com'. I won the same item from this seller and can confirm that they are fakes. I had mine assessed by a reputable auction house and a film memorabilia consultant in the industry who informed me that they were simply 'copies'. You will find that this seller mis-represented as being 'original hand signed' articles. I am claiming a refund through Paypal.
It is really none of my business... but I couldn't help warn you that the one you purchased is most likely to be a fake too.

If you need further details regarding this matter please do not hesitate to contact me.

Kind Regards,
Andy

The sheet I won seemed legit to me, BTW :)

Looking at his feedback, I know I've had cause to check him out before. Can't think why though!

[EDIT]
I know where I know him from.
I'll leave this in place, though, so folk know to be wary.
His eBay account is http://myworld.ebay.com/moviesgalore01.
I wonder why the 01? ;)

Paypal dispute should end this week. His MO is to spout a load of legal mumbo-jumbo and demand his money back. If he had of been 'nice' I would have refunded him. He went for the jugglar right away though.

Will be funny if he emailed Harry as well.
