The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Gearbox being the ones doing the new Aliens FPS game. Looks like they got some research material in, third picture down:

No mention of the game, though :(

The helmet looks like just a regular M1 with a camera on the side, as the front doesn't seem to have the extra plate on.

The chest armour looks way too short as well, unless he's about 7'6" tall that is. :)

I'm pretty sure the front plate IS there... If you look carefully you can see the line.
And the dude's choice of shirt is making the chest plate appear smaller.
I think it's a Spat :)

I'm still trying to figure out which suit it is. It has to be a recent one, from about September or so, since it has the new grenade straps.

I have to look and see if I sent any suits to Texas recently.

And now, seeing the pics of the armor in the new Colonial Marines game makes me think that my armor may have been used as the base for it!

Which makes my armor canon now!!

Woo HOO!!

Now to go raise the price!

If that's the case, you need to be given some sort of line in the credits, hehe. Think of the publicity!

Maybe we can get them to put our websites in the acknowledgments in the back of the manual? ;)

I'm planning on setting up a promo event at some local stores that want some Colonial Marines and Aliens at the release of the game. I'm sure that will get us some free games!

No, I'll be sending bills to all my previous buyers asking for royalties since the armor is now going to be famous!

But I'm evil like that.

Well I'm in Dallas this weekend hopefully meeting with Gearbox.
I'll have my Sparmor with me and of course I'll put them in touch with you Spat should they have any armor questions etc.

However......they've yet to return my calls.
It appears their offices are closed all week or no one is checking their messages.
Fingers crossed they'll call back before lunch time tomorrow!

Are you meeting with them at their request, or is this more like a stalking thing?

Should we have bail money ready?

Dave and Rex met with SEGA at WonderCon and Dave gave me Gearbox's information to call them about a meeting in Dallas.

AllCon is this weekend so was hoping to coincide one with the other. No luck however.

So in a nutshell....no stalking involved. But I'm not 100% sure if its at their or SEGA's request. :?:
