The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I'm leaving for NYC to do a charity event in a few hours, like you care BUT, since I won't be around much this week, here's a few more photos to have fun with, the Aliens Sentry Gun (again, these are *not* capped off the DVD). This will be it for a while, but I'll try and dig up some more goodie before Thanksgiving.

Thanks again Willie, appreciate you sharing them with us.

Blimey, does Cameron ever smile!

Have a great, and successful, time at the charity event.

Looking forward to seeing what other images you dig up! :)

Cheers,

Andy

Thanks for those!

Is there a breakdown of parts for these anywhere? I'm guessing that's another MG42 inside?

I don't think anyone has ever posted a breakdown for the unit, although the "battery pack" has been identified I believe.

And yes, that's another MG42 inside.

Thanks for the great pics Willie!

Yeah the battery is from a military field radio- can't remember the model... Clandsmen? I think Oz might know.

I’d have to check my records but off the cuff I think the correct model was the SRA42 but any of the PRC range (9/10) is a very close match.
