The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

With Darren's ID cards going to print soon - The crew of the Hadrian's Wall DO need a unit name, and soon!

Any ideas? :)

Flaming Ninja Pirates is a dichotomy that cannot be reconciled, for they are on fire due to the warring parts of themselves fighting for control! :(

Why not Flaming Space Ninjas?

How about The Cohorts. Has the link to Hadrian/Roman. Military Terminology and it also informally means a group.

Actually, Why do we needa squad name we have the Hadrian's Wall name already.. Why not just keep that as the squad name and make up a name for the ship.?

Save having to redo all the badges.:)

United Systems Ship Hadrian's Wall.
( Can't see there being an HM by the time we colonise other planets! ;) )

I like that as the ship name, anyway. Has a kinda "Halo" ring to it too IMHO.

I agree with Fraz. Who needs unit name?

What we have so far is fine enough.

If we don't give ourselves one, we'll be given one.

So we stick with "Hadrian's Wall" as the ship name, and take whatever nickname we're given? ;)

The patch design has been sorted.

Any new official name will require a new patch and more money out of the window.
Fraz has been kind enough to buy our patches thus far, lets not kick him in the teeth eh?
By all means lets have a nick name, but not something to be added to our patch. Least, not for now.

One thing thats pissing me off though: I suggested Tartan Clad and was laughed off. Now Mantroon suggests it and suddenly its ok?

I don't recall Tartan Clad being suggested before - If it was, I probably wasn't aware of the context of "Amber Clad" and would have thought it just a general statement of clothedness... Apologies if so!
