The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Awesome! Nice pattern, nice weathering, not too over the top, great dirtying... just a shame it's a Hudson replica and not an original; I think we'll be able to have a squad of 10 Hudson's at events now!!!

Seriously though, very cool. I'm liking it a lot. You've made me want to post better photos of my armour to see if I can improve my paintwork!

right marines (and bugs), here are a couple of pics showing some updates. added the key to the crotch plate, painted all the buckles green, and clipped on the webbing straps to give you a better idea of the finished look. enjoy (i hope)........

That's awesome!

What did you use to paint the skull motif on there? I have been looking for a picture of it I could use for a decoration on some of my work equipment - but no real luck. Nothing that is like a flat image at least, all I find are armor pics.

Does someone mind sharing it with me if they have a flat image?

Anyways ... great work. I like how it turned out!

Nick-a-tron, what was the graphite powder you used? What is it usually sold for, or rather where am I likely to be able to buy some?

I used Grate polish on my armour, which I was told was what the screen armour had applied to it, but it smears like boot polish so has to be applied VERY subtly. Your armour has a great look to it without the smears!

Thanks Nick! Is MIG the manufacturer, or does it stand for something?
