The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

As far as centering,

First proto will be centered, but I'll check to see how it will

look off centered to the right.

I did fix the kerning.

The original is slightly "Mar king"

Remaining Fabric sent to printer, so should be rolling next week.

Yep. Only the minimum for the screenprinter.

Then that's it. 24 pieces (25 minus 1 for me of course)

PM me if you interested. Got some spaces left.

I'll have 4-5 in a more green OD, they'll probably go on feebay.

It has the second row of elastic, so they could hold some rolled
or folded dough.

Thanks! Here's a pict of the latest proto:

Type is centered. I might just keep it centered,so they won't be
confused with the original.

Got all the PMs.

All are in. Not many open spots left.

Got all the raw goods. Rolling this weekend.

Final price is still dependant on actual flares, but

will give people the option to get pouch only.

I'm closing the list now.

I'll have 4-5 left in a more OD green, so those could be

available in later.

ACTUAL FLARE UPDATE:

To keep cost/time down, flares will be solid aluminum with

Sandpaper + Flare color indicator Disks applied.

Picts next weekend.

The paper tube makers couldn't make the tube needed for such
a low quantitiy.

Can we not print them out locally with the artwork?

Rex, got your PM. All are in.

That would be too much finishing work and cost a lot (in the 100s).

One option was to do top and bottom plastic caps with an aluminum tubing body, but I couldn't justify the cost with molding and finishing 250 little pieces.

My prefered option was using pyro or paper tube with one end
having a curl-n-disk finish. Only the top cap would be
molded with a striker tip (course black sandpaper).
Unfortunately no one would touch it with the low quantity.

Here's the idea:

Image

Flare indicator color options would be red, blue,or white.

So the final option is to make the flares out of solid aluminum,
finish the edges similiar to the above picture, and apply striker+
indicator disks.

Hope that is okay. If not, you can always take the option without
flares and make them on your own.

Thanks guys! This is a fun project.

Will start cutting flares over the weekend.

I'll send out option PMs to everyone in the next few days.

Thanks!

Yes.

I should get the pouches by monday. My sample maker was

delayed due to making some halloween costumes.

Actual flares: GOOD NEWS!

I found a domestic vendor to do the paper tubing as

described in the picts.

This will allow a surplus of tubing so, along with

each pouch and 5 finished flares, everyone will get

an additonal 10-15 raw flare tubes!

(depends on how many I can fit into the shipping boxes)

When I have some time, want to look into making some

working flares.

So, I'd say we are a few weeks out, when the paper tubing
is delivered.

THANKS!
