The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hey all,

I'm flattered, TKS.

It's great to be in such good company ... again.

Now knock it off; drop and give me 25!

Chris

As I have read this thread, being out here in Spain, far from the conventions circles and all that stuff, and not knowing what had really happened, seeing all those photos, etc., I feared for the worst!. Glad to see that you're safe and sound, and back in the "grunts" fold: I fully support all the compliments written on this thread: even though we've never met in person, you're simply one of the best persons I've ever had the pleasure to know.

Hi, Chris:

I wish I could go to Dragon con (or any con, for that matter)!, but being the father to three sons and with the salary of a spanish physician, I'm afraid that, for the moment, I cannot afford a trip to the U.S.A., anyway, never say never: maybe someday I'll be able to save enough money to drag my family along to the U.S.A. with me for a holiday and maybe I will finally be able to show my armour in a convention... they must be really funny and exciting for a SF and modelling fan, like me.

Almost looks as if the bug is asking, "May I have this dance?".

Jennifer was a major blast with her Xeno suit, for sure. What a sweet gal! I hope she and Frank can return next year.

So, was she a belly dancer or playing Arcturian? Definitely a female.

VBR,
Chris

Yo Rog!

TKS.

I hope "Buddy Holly" was fun.

Gave out the rest of the "soil samples" to the newbies at the Con. Surprise! Raised a few eyebrows and widened some smiles. TKS.

I may have to get another batch of cryo tubes, the way things are going.

Continued success!

TKS again!

VBR,
Chris

Raises glass of whisky & joins in the tribute to a fallen Colonial Marine.

Rest in peace Chris. I can only imagine the impact of you not being there in Body had on those at DCon,though in Spirit I know you will have been with them all & had a good laugh along the way.

The loss of Chris made us even closer as a Brotherhood. It seemed like everything we did was a living tribute to him and to Joy. While it was very sad to not have him in there in person, I know he was very happy to see how far we have come in just a short time. Unified in the face of his passing.

Eventhough I maybe a newbie here, it sounded like Chris was a true friend amongst fellow Marines.

It seemed like he was a true embodiement of what it was to be a Colonial Marine.

May the grace of God be upon you and you family.

*Raises a glass of whisky*

I must say I agree .. Chris being gone has left a void. Gone is his cheerfulness and enthusiasm. The world needs more of that rare quality.
