The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

So my buddies and I are getting our gear together. Since airsoft and weapons are illegal in our country, the next best solution is 3D printing what we need. Here is a VP70 pistol kit printed in resin.

That came out nice.
I also have the "MCMDesign" print files saved, so it is cool to see what the result looks like.

They came out great. It's amazing how far technology has come.

Personally, I'm not a fan of overly accurate or functional prop internals coz well, its resin and resins not really suitable for cocking and functionality without breaking over the long term.

I had a resin-cast Halo SOCOM pistol and I had it snap in 2 during a stage performance coz of flexing in its holster. Quite embarrassing that was LOL. And a lot of "fun" to fix after.

I cautioned my guys not to play with the pistols too much due to the potential breakage issues and advised them to fill up and brick the internals as soon as they have had their fun.

Just my pov as a costumer and propmaker.
