18 years ago I trooped for the first time because I Colonial Marine for the premiere of AVP. All I had was a pulse rifle and a mish-mash of stuff.

My first troop was at CONcussion in 1997. I wore woodland camo BDUs with glued on USCM patches and carried a replica 1911.
