The waiter tried to have a go saying we should have asked for separate checks........I believe both Shawn and I informed him that it was HIM who said we could not separate such a large group.

Still.......all turned out fine and had a blast!!!!!

If you paid by card please check your balance on what Max Lagars charged...my wife looked at ours and they charged $57...but her receipt says $48...so we think they might have taken MORE than the tip they had already added onto the bill.

Yeah, I'm definitely never going to that restaurant again. The food was very good, and so was the service for the most part, but I've never seen a restaurant of any kind outright deny as simple a request as "can you split this check please"... much less turn around and suggest that the customer was in the wrong for asking. If I gave a customer at Starbucks the kind of attitude that manager guy gave us, I'd probably be fired on the spot.

But aside from that, the dinner was awesome ^___^
