It was fun but crazy. The local help was a great relief and I am working on building some costumes as a result. I am also going to work on the female costume from AVP as wifey was agreeable to it (not revealing or risqué at all).
Token game Tavern has an aliens extermination arcade so I can get measurements! They were even agreeable as they liked the idea of a more portable bar top version of the arcade. It runs on a Pentium 4 setup and I can get a 3 game setup for about 600 (just the underlying hardware piece.) Plus the cost of a 55" lcd display and some lumber.
As I am partial to the ghostbusters, I have asked them to source me a licensed copy of their arcade and I will build them one for their tables. If I can not attend events with them I can at least provide some material support in the free time I have in my absence.
once hour wait each for: bruce campbell autograph, bruce campbell picture, richard dean anderson autograph, richard dean anderson photograph. It was nuts but they tweaked things to go a hell of a lot quicker this year.

Very cool!
I did swing by the booth earlier in the day and spoke to your wife and later in the day someone else who was looking after the booth.
It was a good event. I heard some folks were waiting three hours for a Bruce Campbell autograph.
The Bruce situation was wild. I am glad I got his autograph a couple years ago and didn't need to deal with that.
Overall we had a great time too. Didn't get to hang out at the table as much as we planned, but my son LOVED the video game setup. That was a nice addition and he was finally introduced to the classic Aliens and AvP arcade games. Thanks Gabe.
Overall I think a great time was had by all.
