hi all, i'm Alan from down somerset in the uk

at current i'm a fall time carer for my partner who is ill, i like to make a lot of CGI models of varius weapons used on SCI-FI films, but i lack the skills & tools to bring my designs into the real world

I first saw Aliens (yes as in the second film) back when i was about 10-11 & i've been hooked ever since, as of yet i have nothing to do with aliens except the extended movies on both VHS & DVD

I'd love to be the first guy to build a fully self sustaind power loader, but, as with all my plans, it's allready been done, or, i will never have the time/skills/tools/money for it

right now i'm working on a scratchbuilt BB M-56 "Smartgun"

I used to work at Alien War with Doug McCarthy who introduced me to this site.

Also spoken to Harry Harris on a few occaisions quite some time ago.

I got into Aliens when I was still at school. I even managed to get some props, such as the Miracle Machine, part of the Queen and (a copy) of Frosts T-Shirt - Peace through superior firepower.

Doug even made me a very good replica of the Pulse Rifle

Hey, I'm Colin...

I'm still a minor, but I've always had a fascination with the 'real' military and the USCM. I'm a fan of most of Ridley Scott's movies, and I loved the first 3 alien films. I also play airsoft with my friends a ton. My hopes within the months are:
TO create a vacuu-form table and make my own set of USCM armor.
TO Modify my existing G-36 airsoft rifle into a custom M41A1-SD, with scope.

I also played with the high-res mode'ls from AvP2 to make a 'blueprint' of my weapon, I'll post it as soon as Photobucket stops bieng an ass.

hey l'm new here i'm living in holland and my name is patrick l'm 32 years old married and have two children Michelle 4 years and Jordi 2 years old and my hobby's are prop building i started to build light sabers then i try to build blasters first i build the stormtrooper blaster then the han solo blaster and then i was hooked to build (gun and rifle's) props then i saw a picture off the PR i think men i want one. so i started the studdieng itt and make some drawings and to build that thing.and here it is

i guess ill post here as this seems to be the introduction forumn.
i met a bunch of you cool CM's this past weekend at dragon Con.

im james aka kelrothi, im also a member of the 501st as TK5268. i spent a good deal of the con running around with my buddy spooner.im 26 yrs old from central florida. been a huge alien fan since i was just a little kid and hudson (i still say he survived) and hicks (hicks death was ridiculous!!) are my 2 favorite characters.

it was cool meeting a few of you for a few mins and saying hello in passing but thats how meeting people and friendships start so hi all

James, I remember you distinctly ... nice SW Stormtrooper get up. TKS for checking in!
