The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I made my own, using Revell enamel paints:

#82 (Dark Earth [Matt]) with a bit of #361 (Olive Green [Silk]) stirred in. :)

PM me if anyone's interested and we can work something out... I will charge $4.50 a can to cover my previous expenses (plus the fact that the dollar is weaker since long against the Swedish crown right now...). Buyer to pay shipping and PP fee.

PM folks!

And the reason is that it was discontinued by Humbrol. :(

Every tin left out there is old stock. So I suggest we start taking these to the hardware/paint store and get them colour matched.

Would a writing campaign to Humbrol, asking them to
"Bring back the Bess" help in any way?

I'm wondering if they even know/ remember that they are tied to
the Aliens film.

possible, i was told recently that Humbrol went bust, or sold out to Hornby (people that do the train sets etc) and that there still finding there feet, hence lots of backorders still outstanding, dont know how true it is though.

I'd be interested in some as well, just for my shoulder lamp and (eventually) my Head-Mounted Sight.
