#82 (Dark Earth [Matt]) with a bit of #361 (Olive Green [Silk]) stirred in.

Hey guys, Im looking for a tin of Humbrol Brown Bess (170) also

Im in the UK but I cannot for the life of me find this particular colour.

And the reason is that it was discontinued by Humbrol.

Every tin left out there is old stock. So I suggest we start taking these to the hardware/paint store and get them colour matched.

Apart from using it on a couple of small items, im also looking at getting it colour matched at a car paint suppliers in a spray can in acrylic, any info regarding the mix/codes etc ill be sure to post.

"Bring back the Bess" help in any way?


I'm wondering if they even know/ remember that they are tied to
the Aliens film.

possible, i was told recently that Humbrol went bust, or sold out to Hornby (people that do the train sets etc) and that there still finding there feet, hence lots of backorders still outstanding, dont know how true it is though.

I'd be interested in some as well, just for my shoulder lamp and (eventually) my Head-Mounted Sight.
