I don't think the Aliens queen was all that large. It was only in AvP that she turned into a T-Rex. Imagine Jim there in a powerloader instead of on foot and the size looks just about right to me.

I believe that's the original queen that made its rounds while promoting aliens colonial marines video game . I'm the movie it was always in a more squat position . Then shown there . Great photo . Awesome creature design as always
