So I scored this case 'loose' off ebay for ~$5 shipped! It was listed without any brand referenced. No timer came with it, it was just the case. (Timer seen there was found separately)
I don't believe it is a "real" Hama timer case as the wear on the inside seems to imply a much larger dial (like one of the 2 above) had been rubbing against it, but the hama timer does fit into it quite neatly.

Size matches a resin cast I have perfectly.
My question, to those who have "real" hama cases, is: Are the ridges "raised" on the real one? The inscriptions and letters are imprinted on the inside (so outside is smooth), however the 'box' outline around the letters is raised on mine.

Were they raised, needing to be filed/sanded smooth, on the 'hama' case, or was the hama case completely smooth on the outside from the factory?
Thanks for any help
