Hey folks,

This is going to sound familiar with another thread regarding SD Studios. But I'm looking to add at least one Pulse Rifle magazine with a base plate that uses an actual Thompson magazine to my on-going collection.

I saw that SD Studios sells base plates on the bay but I have pretty poor craftsmanship skills. Does anyone have any experience putting one of these sets together with an actual Thompson mag? If so, would I need to have any specific tools or machinery to get the job done?

If not, are there any other places that sell Pulse Rifle magazines by order?

Any suggestions or tips are much appreciated.

I have an original Thompson mag in my Snow Wolf and I'm also interested in adding a proper base to it. The SD Studio base looks very nice but I'd like to know it would work with a real mag/SW combo.

Anyone?

I believe SD Studios, or at least the guy that runs it, was banned from the RPF for not fulfilling orders.
I'd stay clear.
