The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Thanks!

Thanks guys…

Q - those are cool - I think what we're looking to do is find one we can fit right up against a lens… Maybe adapt the Alien Tracker app and program that on to a board...

That sounds great! Mine was just a cheap fix as I didn't like having a bit of paper behind the lens.

Quarax's link looks promising too!

Interesting you bring this up, I was looking for the Isolation Motion Tracker app last night and found this:

https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/alien-c ... 99441?mt=8

Has anyone checked it out? Seems like it could be fun at drops!

I saw the IR motion tracker board over at Hyperdyne Labs, looks cool but pretty expensive :( probably worth every nickle though! Chasing your cats around the house in the dark haha

Looks like I'm not the only one checking the App Store for the Alien: Isolation app.

Lordy I would love to have something I can install in my spat kit. Hopefully someone on here can make it happen.

Also depends on the Hama viewer's wall thickness.

Injection molded (thin) vs. Casting (thick)
