The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

So after many a year wishing I could be a Colonial Marine, and many months staring at you all enviously, my new job has meant I've found myself in the joyous position to begin my build. This will probably be slow going but I intend to keep updates here fairly regular. Besides its nice to share right?

Its safe to say that seeing this in the porch as I arrived home from work made me mischeviously chuckle to myself:

Thanks to none other than our Chef for cooking up this little beauty for me. For those that haven't seen his kit in person, images truly don't do it justice. His sets really are works of art and Rob is also great at being there for all the stupid little questions I've had along the way (and will probably continue to have in abundance now I have a set).

Should go quite nicely with my delightfully blue Snow Wolf M41a and my dogtags by Armourer. In the meanitime I'll be saving for the next purchase.

I guess for now this will keep me busy and I'll keep you all informed of my progress and any other musings along the way.
Time to get on that express elevator to Hell!

Cheers!

Good luck with the build! Can't wait to see more pictures.

It really does retro. I can't speak highly enough of his work.

I'm also ordering the armour+helmet kit from Chef. He's a top guy.
Looking forward to see the build mate. Good luck

ps. I was so close to buying snow wolf pulse rifle when they were on sale (175) but couldn't justify the purchase back then...now i TOTALLY REGRET that decision.

All the best

Pete
