The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Maybe it's just the limitations of using a cell phone to search for photos online, but I can't seem to find any of the Alien Warrior from behind, knee down or sideways showing the lower half of the body. I just find those from knee up to the head from front view. I'm curious about how the tail was connected to the body and what the design of the legs were from behind/sideways. Could someone please help?

Thanks! In the meantime, I accidentally came across www.jamescamerononline.com, which has some pretty more good pictures and descriptions. I was wondering if the tail was connected more near the tailbone , or if it was connected more towards the lower rear-end and it shows on that site. I saw some decent photos on here for the costume that some fans were building, but are those suits truly screen accurate?

None of our costumes are particularly screen-accurate. Many of the screen-seen Aliens had no tail, or a tail that was puppeted separately. I do have some pics on my home PC which shows a production test of a fully supported tail, but that one had the tail pointing straight out behind and relied on the performer remaining in a full crouch!
