The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Interesting pictures! Looks like I never knew Bishop's rank...
EOA - I guess that stands for Equal Opportunity Advisor, right?

Cheers,
Stefan

The the dog tags are engraved in brown bess.

On the pictures it looks like EOA, but IMHO
on the dog tag Bishop's title was ECA. (Executive Command Android). A kind of consultant/advisor.

I've wondered about the white vs black lettering too.

Looking at the pictures from nickdaring you could say it’s either white, black, grey or perhaps brown.

A closer look at Harry's picture does indicate brown bess to me.

Maybe the "white" ones are actually BB ones with the paint flaked out?

Kris, if the tags were routed or manually etched, they likely would look white prior to paint. I know the ones we did in Maryland several years ago were. As far as laser etching, Taj would be the person to ask. I don't know if the heat burns/chars the plastic to a darker tone.
