The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Been wanting to do this project for ages and finally finished it this weekend. I will be displaying it at Monsterpalooza next weekend in Burbank California if anyone is attending that event. As fate would have it, Lance is also going to be there as well as the ADI crew, so I'm hoping to have Lance swing by the table if possible.

His head, arms and guts are all silicone. The body is fiberglass. I will be selling copies of him for those interested. Haven't set a price yet... still recovering from creating this one :) The base is 3' x 3' to get an idea of his size.

First couple of pictures are with his hair in normal Lance condition. It pained me to have to mess up the hair after spending 8+ hours punching it in and styling it. Oh well, had to do it.

My daughter posed in the last picture so you can get an idea of size. She's a teen and they don't pose like normal people for some reason :)

Hot damn! Great job and awesome that Lance will hopefully see it! The likeness is great. What did you use for a watch? There was thread on here about sourcing a repro not long ago.

The watch was one of my first questions too! A "close enough" model or what? Also sourcing the jumpsuit with the correct color sleeves is probably of interest to more than a few folks here.

The watch is just a cheapie that I found close enough. I had to cry uncle on getting the real thing. I was following the repro thread on the watch, so if that ever comes to fruition I am all over it.

bigbisont - Yes, this is all scratch built. I've only built this one. Plan is to build them to order if anyone is interested. I've got the first one out of the way, so have all the molds now and more importantly the hard knocks from figuring out the best way to build him.

I'll dig up some in progress pics and post them in a bit.

The jumpsuit is made by Red Kap. I had it modified by a seamstress to fit the movie suit. I thought she did an excellent job. I will post a pic of it. The sleeves were added to the suit.

Looks awesome!

Try posting about it on Lance's official FB page:
https://www.facebook.com/officiallancehenriksen
He reads/posts on it and the guy who manages it can alert him to your post. :)

Thanks PVB. I did send it to Troy who manages Lance's page. He's going to post it at some point on Lance's page and send some pics over to Lance. I'm hoping to have Lance come out to my table at Monsterpalooza... probably during off hours so he won't be mobbed by the crowds.
