The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

As the title says really. What watches fit on a Noble strap?

I bought a couple of straps off Noble and unfortunately they're a couple of mm too wide for my current wrist watch.
(As nice looking and tempting as the resin copies are, I really want to use a watch that works.)

Not bothered if it looks like a Pulsemeter as long as it...
A - looks the part.
and
B - Is reasonably priced.
I was looking at a Casio CA53W-1 purely for it's 80s geek factor but I have no idea if it'll fit.

What do other forumites wear?

Cheers in advance.

I wear a Casio Databank DB-55W, which can be easily altered to look like a Pulsemeter, but it doesn't fit Matt's strap.
Some watch geek sites do detail the specs down to the width of the 'strap lugs' or 'case lugs', as they're usually called. Just pick one that sufficiently accomodates Matt's strap (or Google something like [watch model] + [lug width]).

You are looking for something compatible with 22mm band.

Casio or 80's digital Seiko would be where I'd start.

Thanks for the replys.

I've tried looking for lug widths ( and I never knew they were called that untill I started. lol ) but nothing comes up that makes any sense.

It seems that 99% of descriptions for watches don't include how wide a strap it takes.

I'll keep on searching. But I might end up having to get a replica afterall. ( Not that thats a bad thing. I'd just rather have it be a proper watch if I can. )

If you're willing to put a bit of work in with a file and a small drill bit, the DB-55W can be made to fit...

Unfortunately even those are turning out to be a bugger to find. lol

I don't seem to be having any luck working out which watches have 22mm lugs. :(

Ah well. Never mind. It was a nice plan. I'll just have to leave it for now and see about getting a replica at a future date.

Thanks for the help.
