The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Does anyone know if there is a picture of the set showing the general background of LV426?
If I can find one of decent enough resolution, I'd like to use it as a background for my figures...maybe try and recreate the "aftermath" scene.

Maybe the shot of the dropship coming in before it crashes would do? I can photoshop the dropship out for you if you can't.

Do you mean an external view, like the bar area when Apone looks through the binos?

Google image search for Hadley's Hope brings up some decent external and internal views.

No, I meant the rocky background we see behind Hicks, Hudson, etc. after the DS crashes and Hicks grabs Hudson by the armor.

Reaper, I can do that, yes, but I don't have access to a high res. pull of that scene.

This other forum has two shots, one of the Jorden tractor and one just before the DS crash, both seem to mainly be matte/rear projection shots:

http://thejcoboard.46.forumer.com/the-l ... 47-20.html

IIRC, during the Jorden's journey to the derelict, we get some landscape without the tractor in it, so maybe someone with the ability to screencap the blu ray can post a pic? :)

Exactly!

And to your second statement, that's what I'm hoping for. :)

Woot! Gonna test out my new Bluray player on my new computer!!!

Err... turns out screencapping Blurays is harder than I thought haha. Anyone have a program recommendation that is free or very cheap? (cause you know, I'm cheap!)

I made custom eggs in scale to go along with the figures. Made of latex and can get 3 different types.

Closed egg
Open egg
Battle damaged egg

Finally got all three figures. I went through every figure in the store to make sure that I got the ones with the best paint job. No crossed eyes for me!

Thanks Nick! :-D

All my figures are perfect. I did see a few cross eyed Hudson but easily fixed with some paint.

Can't wait to get hold of the next series.

Check out https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sith_fir ... n=timeline He is making a normal face Hudson head and will be offering a limited amount of them for sale.

On another topic, we all need to tweet Randy and let him know that we want Vasquez. He seems to change his mind when there's obvious fan demand. I know that Jenette Goldstein is open to the idea of a figure. I tweeted her months and months ago and she mentioned that no one from NECA had contacted her about a figure.
