The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

If your getting a Snow Wolf check to see what kind of battery it comes with. If it is a no-name cheapo battery pack, you are going to be disappointed in the performance. I highly suggest you order a quality battery pack with it. Also, if interested, check out my build thread on how to install a bigger battery pack in a Snow Wolf for more power. Links are in my sig line below.

Congrats on getting your dream gun!

Yes, the battery that comes with it does blow butt, and mine was a Matrix, but basically, the same rifle...Love the rifle, hated the battery. Didn't even last through one single game. :( The new one though, just fine. :)

You're OK of they're resellers of branded stuff. I get plenty of Airsoft stuff off there, batteries included. Just be weary of the Chinese copy stuff. Like Kris said, fire is a possibility!

Did you get the kit version you have to build? If so, I would highly suggest leaving out those pesky roll pins around the edges of the shroud. One, the gun will still be very solid once built, and two, it will make taking the gun apart much easier if repairs or upgrades are needed.

Yeah, you don't really need them, unless you really bash on your gun.

Is it a G & P kit or a Snow Wolf/Matrix? Just if its a Snow Wolf you'll have a very quick build time! If its a G & P and you need any tips, PVB did a great guide or I can help you if I can.

Ahh, just looked at Action Hobbies, had no idea they actually cloned the kit.

What Thompson is it going on?

What IS the best Thompson to base a build around? And what is actually available?

The best would be an original Tokyo Marui. I had one in my G&P kit. My second PR used the Cyma as a base but it was an electronic Hero and had the airsoft parts removed, just like my current PR. The Cyma was a good gun and held up well until I gutted it.
