The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Lots of small parts/new moulds plus license fees I guess?

So is the marine double pack rumoured to have helmets? When's it out and are we expecting two generic marines in it?

Shame flamer is "generic marine" but a good gesture none the less in light of who he is modelled after. It'd be pretty ace to be an action figure :delta:

See above comment about Neca employee Kyle's brother Craig Windrix battling stomach cancer.

It's a tribute to him.

It may or may not. It might just be the up sized prototype.

semi-related news.

Apparently Neca's twitter confirmed the Prometheus line is dead. The "holographic" Engineers you see in those pics are the last ones of the series. No future figures planned, and Toys R Us has already determined they wont even actually bring in the holographic engineers.

While I wasnt a fan, this is troubling to me. They already had made prototypes apparently of Fifield and Shaw, but they wont make it to production. I hate to think the Aliens line may die off suddenly before the most sought out figures are actually made. All I can do is my part in buying everything they make though!

I hear its supposed to be 1/4 scale. To go along with their 1/4 Aliens and Preds already released. They say a 1/4 scale Marine "has been considered", but no plans at present to actually do.

That Predator with the Alien head on the staff weapon, is that from one of the comics or something else? I thought maybe it was from the first AvP comic, but it's got a lot of yellow all over it so that's throwing me off.

HEY! Where is Hudson's helmet cover?!?! Seriously, they wanna cheap skate us with helmets from the jump, then when they finally give them to us they have extra rivets on the lobe plate, missing ridges on the lobster plates, and no regard to key graffiti or even a cover at all?!?! Man.... :(

Someone called that the "Dead End" display. I know 'big red' and the SDCC exclusive "albino" pred are from Dead end. I just assumed the yellow guy was to? No idea if that isnt it. They also made a weird "decepticon" looking armor Pred floating around there. That is of course in addition to the 3 "kenner tribute" preds.

I believe that Decepticon Predator is one of the "lost" hunters from P2. It looks like they expanded on his armor by giving him a helmet and shoulder cannon that matched his armor.

If they are going to go the expanded route, they should make a female Predator.

This really had to be done, custom Hudson accessory. made it out of styrene, cotton swab sticks and bits cut off of a 1:18th Obi Wan Kenobi saber. Smoke is bits of a cotton swab. I didn't want to make it my life's work so it's not 100% accurate, but it is wreckage, so it all evens out.

Thanks Terran. It's really hard to make out much detail from the angle of the photos but I don't "want to put to fine a point on it" as it's not really that interesting to begin with. :)

Now that I look at it, I should have removed the shoulder lamp!
