The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Picked up some metal slotwall panels from Blockbuster Video when they were liquidating their display fixtures and finally got around to mounting them into the wall studs - still a work in progress, but here's a quick photo:

(apologies for the crappy phone pic, I need to get a real camera in there)

That has to be the most unflattering picture of Lemmy. Where did you find it.

Thanks!

Good eye... It is indeed - and actually the only screen used piece in the pic. It's a stunt version made of hard rubber - normally I wouldn't have chased it, but it sold for so cheap I thought i'd give it a good Aliens home.

I did a little research and found that the panels were made by these guys:

Commercial Fixturing & Components

Not sure if you can buy direct, but may be worth looking into.

The best "hooks" I found for the guns were only about .27 cents each from this place:

Mannequins, Store Fixture and Retail Displays | The Competitive Store

They have some slatwell as well, but more of the traditional retail variety.

It might be worth reaching out to Blockbuster to see of there's a bunch of these gathering dust in some warehouse or something...
