It seems that they are doing Dragon*con night the Thursday before D*C at the Braves Game. They will be playing the Cleveland Indians. Anyone interested in going??

Could be fun to get a block of tickets for the Marines. And of course the would be booze and baseball.

I would not recommend going in full BDU's.
USCM shirts and BDU pants at most but not full BDU's for obvious reasons.

Ok, I am going to look into tickets this week. There is a deal through D*C that includes transportation, but I want to make sure we can all sit together. Would we want it AL people only, or do we want to extend this to our friends outside the board if we can't reach the minimum for group rate tickets?

Although, it has to be said, they ARE encouraging costuming. Costumed attendees get to take part in a pregame field parade!

We've had issues with people outside of conventions in BDU's getting 'mistaken' so I'm always cautious but of course as it's a D*Con event so as you'll be around other costumers you should be OK.
