Love the movie Aliens ever since i saw it when i was a kid. I am currently building Colonial Marine armor and hope to show it at 2014 Phoenix Comicon.

Well...seems like my original introduction (posted a FS thread in the ready line) was sub-optimal :lol

So here´s a brief description of my background...

My name is Markus Odendall and i am a passionate prop-builder and collector from germany.
Started this hobby back in the late 90´s when I got sick of spending tons of money for toys.

Even if I specialise in Star Wars, my passion for BLASTERS/ BIG GUNS -which brought me the name "blaster master" amongst fellow collectors- led me to the PulseRifle, the M56 and the Nostromo Pistol.

I started with a resin PR I got through ebay loooong ago, which I sold shortly after starting the build.
Then I upgraded to a softair TM M1A1 based PR but with real M870, real SPAS12 parts, SDS add-ons, Hyperdyne counter and Matsuo vacformed shrouds.
Got recently bitten by the "upgrade-bug" and got myself a real M1A1 and a HCG shroud-set....still a WIP currently.

Parallely I got most of the parts to start a -mostly- metal M56 smartgun, based on a real MG42/53, real struts, motorcycle parts...

Some of you AL members know me from the RPF, where I am an active, contributing member for 12+ years now.

hi my names robin.I live in cornwall and i didnt realise how much i adore the aliens film until quite recently as im an aging gamer and re acquainted myself with the colonial marines in said x box game lol. Im a male staff nurse (no jokes coz i've heard em all lol) , i enjoy good films, good larger and a good laugh.Anyway when your motion trackers pinging with multiple strong contacts and your pulse rifles cocked locked and ready to rock surly that deserves at least a smile?

Um ok another fng reporting in here .again from cornwall . My names Ross been a aliens fan since I was 8-9 and first got it on vhs .wore that out watching it so much made my own armour out of cardboard to run around the streets in. So fast forward afew years and I've now got my own pulse rifle and am working on my uscm gear atm .
