The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hi
I am Jamie Vellam, I am 14 years old and I love all of the aliens movies, in particular the 1886 aliens. I am a very intelligent individual for my age and I live in Peterborough England and I will be attending london expo and possibly LFCC.

Hi Guys and Girls

My name's Tony and I joined the forum some time ago but haven't posted much :-( I love the aliens film and have always wanted a Marine costume for as long as I can remember :-) I am not new to the costume world as I am a member of a Star Wars group in the UK which I troop with regularly.
I have collected various parts for my Marine armour and am currently waiting on my armour from Spat.
So hope to see some of the UKCM guys soon ;-)

I'll be joining up with the Bucketheads squad ^.^

Greetings Fellow Marines.
I've been slowly piecing together my USCM gear over the last several years. I have a MAA BDU set, 1 airsoft and 1 resin pulse rifles, a VP70, 1 ea of both types of grenades and a helmet camera. I have a wearable alien costume, 2 facehuggers, one that is wearable. I had a chestbuster but, it didn't hold up too well. Just ordered my motion tracker and welder from spatcave props. I am working with a friend on armor.

Name's Angus,

Just got invited to the board via my flying dropship model.... Love the franchise! Always wanted to have something like this.

vids if you haven't seen it yet.

Flying in my backyard

Flying in my livingroom

Still working out some tuning issues, and I'm really really really trying to get either licensed to make and sell these myself or get picked up by a toy company so that they can sell them. If you have any info on how to do either of these or who to contact PM me please.

Thanks for the invite over here Robiwon. I'm already working on a new improve lighter frame with servos so I can deploy the weapons pylons. I have another famous sci-fi model I'm working on that will also fly but I don't want to get into that right now. I'll try and post some more videos of everything deployed here pretty soon.

Ive seen all films relating to Alien, and by far my favorite one is "Aliens". I really dug the Colonial Marines, and it sparked an interest that Ive been looking to delve into more. I hope to see more of this type of awesomeness. Thanks for reading!

After a long absence, Im BACK!

I have continued to do my diligent research which has actually lead me to more questions, which is a good thing.

I have decided to go grunt and buiild a full set of Marine armor. In my area we have two almost screen accurate Predators and two bugs, and they have formed a local group open to all things having to do with the Predator/ Aliens saga.

My issue is going to be chest and calf size. I am looking for larger size armor, but if I have to sculpt and pull my own, I will. Input from other larger Marines is most welcome!

hey Lordhotwing--good to see you here. You know me as Blackwatch!

577, we are gonna try to be there. We are about 4 hours down the street from atlanta, but we have the other drop we are also prepping for in west virginia, so we will see how it goes.

Hi guys Rimwar here from Perth Australia. Been a huge fan since i was a boy. Now still a boy but 41 years young.

Keen to get me some BDU's and Armour and Sign up... Been lurking for a while reading all the good stuff this community has to offer.

Before i jump in the deep end size is going to be my big issue. Standard BDU's don't come in SM (Small Marquee). And i am concerned a set of Armour will look like a Plastic plate balanced on a Grisly bear. Belive me i have seen some Con's where the Stormtroopers had a few to many RTE's! its not a great look.

Any hoo cheers for having me.

Stefan Sova reporting for duty!

The "lucky" third addition to the Hungarian crew (and it seems the guys build got quite a few positive reviews; we're all really pleased to see that!) and have my current project under way. Without giving too much about it away, it will be an addition to our colonial marines repertoire, as well as pad out the armory with something special.

But before I get into matters that are still a ways from completion, a little about me. I'm an avid painter/tabletop strategy gamer who was recently shown the true path and still can't get over how awesome the Alien movies are (still have a few more to look at, as well as books...I'm taking notes as I go along, I promise!).

Hope to have some more good stuff to show you all soon enough, and the crew will be moving full steam ahead to make you all proud!
