The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

bought and bought.

Great work as usual Mike.

Is this it now for Aliens pins. Please say it is LOL.

I've been holding off and holding off making some sort of display for all these pins until the set was complete.

Cheers

Darren

For those who missed out on this run I can say this; When Mike did his first badge (USCM delta) there was great demand for it, way over and above the 50 that he produced. The next badge was the Weyland Yutani logo badge. Mike made 100 of those and they all sold.

For the next badge Mike listened to customer demand and the next badge, the USCM 'screaming eagle' which generated many requests to be made saw a production run of 200, but in the end very few people bought them.

I think that's the reason Mike now usually sticks to the 50 badges limit, although it's inevitable that some folks miss out but if the demand isn't seen to be there but I can completely understand why he doesn't want to be sitting on 150 or so badges that won't sell.

I guess that if he sells 50 and there are 10 people disappointed, that's bad. But if he makes 100 and gets stuck with 40, that's worse.

Harry

Yeah, if there's any of those older pins still available, I'll buy. 8)

Damn, I keep getting to these posts too late or when the badges are all sold out. But I just wanted to say what EXQUISITE pieces they are and when you see the whole collection in one go like that you really have to admire the love and craftsmanship. Items like these seem to somehow expand the Aliens universe.
