The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

So I was looking around the "net" and found this...

http://www.thebiggalaxy.com/shopping/shopexd.asp?id=20239

Not super cheap, but alot less expensive than some eBay sellers. I've never ordered from this place so procede at your own risk.

That is a pretty cool find. I wish I had gotten more back when the original 'single barrels' were last on ebay, but this is a good cheaper alternative.

Woot!, Thanks!

I noticed they're the 3 barrel ones and not the 1 barrel ones, but I don't care, I just bought 2 for $30USD shipped :)

Yeah, I saw they had the wrong barrels, but I figured something was better than nothing...and the barrels can be fixed with a little creative thinking. :)

This is the American Sears website, and it says "Not available for International Shipping", but they come from the same place as the first link that dropshipbob posted, I ordered from his link and had no problems with the shipping.

I will post back once I get them :)

Well, not sure if this is a bad sign or truly a simple delay, but I woke up this morning to an email apologizing as the item(s) I have ordered are "temporarily out of stock". Guess I'll give it a week and see what the follow up is...

(I ordered it direct off the bigzoo website)

Weird... Maybe I snagged the last two? I haven't gotten any emails from them yet...

I've been looking around online now that we know which company started making them, "Parris Manufacturing", but they don't have them listed on their site...

I couldn't find them either. I did send them an email with a pic of the belt tool gun though...I'll see what they say.

Ya, good idea, maybe I'll write them too and ask about the single barrel versions :)

On a whim I ran to my local Sears, but they don't even have a toy aisle and when I asked about having an item from their website shipped to the store they gave me a blank stare. I so want to make a "ship my pants" joke here, but it's the wrong store...

On the plus side though, I stopped at the dollar store next door and got a copy of "The Futurist: the Life and Films of James Cameron". They had a whole stack, just a buck a piece!

Damn retro!, I have said this before but I wanna go shopping with you!! haha

I emailed Kevin at Parris Manufacturing, I also asked about the single barrel versions and said that I and some of my friends would be very interested if they (still) make them :)

They do wholesale pricing, so if they still make them, someone from here could buy a bunch and sell them to us :) They could probably make more money on each gun, depending on wholesale prices

Just got this message from Kevin Phillips of Parris Manufacturing:

Quote:
Hi Melissa K,

We have some 3 barrel Galaxy Enforcer left in stock; they are a closeout so we will not have them very much longer. If you want some call our toll free number below and we can see if we have some left to sell. Thanks for your interest.

Do you know Matt Lanteigne?
AKA - Lorny or Magnus

Best regards,

Kevin Phillips

Parris Mfg. Company

Hahaha, so I guess you guys can call him!

I emailed him back asking if they plan on doing any more in the future

*Edit* got the reply
Me:
Quote:
Will Parris be making any more of these in the future? Perhaps even the single barrel ones

His reply:
Quote:
No they do not sell fast enough.

Wow, I'm surprised you even got a reply Moosh, nice work.

And speaking of bulk purchases, Retro, did you ever get your VP70 situation ironed out?

If you got that info from his reply to me, he said he has some "3 barrel" Galaxy Enforcers left, not "some 3", which is what I thought it said too at first... So he may have a few of them!

I'd call and ask how many exactly. I sense a possible group order! haha

I've already got 2 on the way still as far as I know, so I'll step out of this one. I just wanted to find more for everyone else!, I know they're treasured pieces once you find them!!

Ouch!! Haha, just got an email from theBIGzoo, thanking me for my order and that their standard shipping to Canada via UPS was $28.99 and because I had already paid $6.99 shipping, they were seeking approval to charge me an additional $22.00 through PayPal.

I approved however, so I paid like $30.00 for each toy gun haha... Sneaky buggers! Haha

Quick update on my "temporarily out of stock" issue. I called and asked them what the story was, as I read Moosh's correspondence that implied Paris Mfg wasn't going to make any more. BigZoo told me "that is new info to us, we expect to have more in a week or 2". They then clarified they had 2 'on hold' for me (I ordered 3), it was just the 3rd one they didnt have. I told them to cancel the last one and just send the 2.

So I guess if anyone wants them, re-check Moosh's email with the Paris guy and call them direct. Who knows if BigZoo will get anymore.

So...I called Parris Mfg. They do have the pop guns in stock..at a great price of $4.95 per unit and they have 135 of them. Sadly, they only do minimum orders of $150. The would be able to ship to Canada, but I am not sure I want to buy 30 of them...

Ha! I guess I should have known better. When a company says they have "some" left, it pretty much never actually means they are nearly gone. So I guess BigZoo will restock those after all. Just as well though, I didnt actually need 3.
