Yeah....but hopefully this time without any losses for the good guys. I hate hearing about cops getting shot trhing to rid the world of scum.

I went to donate blood this morning. I got to the donor center before they opened and was the first to sign in. Lucky I did- by the time I was hooked up they had stopped appointments or wak-ins. They were scheduling for next week. At 8:15 in the morning (they open at 8am ), they had 101 appointments scheduled. They told me that by 4pm yesterday they had already replenished all the blood they sent to West, and that yesterday they took in as many units as they normally do in a week.

My bloods boiling at the whacko conspiracy theorists. It was stunt guys and special effects? Guys were there in tan combats and brown boots, obviously Navy SEALs planting bombs?

I want to rant, but I'm literally speechless.

What craft?

The Craft are a private company that's involved in training military, security, and law enforcement agencies. Photos show some there with their distinctive Punisher Logo on their caps. As many also have backpacks on, conspiracy buffs claim they did the bombing.

The problem is, the same people who claimed the US Gov was able to sneak a couple of tons of explosives into the WTC, fly airliners by remote control, and sneak passengers off an airliner while having tens of thousands of people keep it all secret, now claim they would just shove some bombs in a backpack and say "Hey guys, wear your own uniforms, and dump the bombs over there".

Conspiracy sites also tend to ignore any pics or info that show that many "Craft" personnel were actually MA Civilian Support Team members.

Back on topic, I hope they're able to figure out what motivated them. Even though the older brother seemed less happy in the US, that's a long step to becoming a bomber, and the younger one appeared quite settled.

It does get a bit out of hand - there's a youtube video claiming this was all pulled off by Hollywood!

I guess you missed all the stories of guys throughout history, from the Dark Ages up to Iraq and Afghanistan, both military and civilian, who've just done that.

"The blue awning wasn't damaged by shrapnel, it was a fake bomb!"

Hey, what about all those photos of World War I battlefields that show shellfire have blasted the area into a lunar landscape, yet there are trees standing unscathed (plus of course there were 170+ victims in the way).

"You look at this footage of the movie Commando, it shows stunt guys in explosions unharmed, this is how they faked it!"

Er, yeah, you do know how visual effects explosive gags work, right? I.E. if you blow up a stuntman, you don't usually use actual explosives!

I want to grab some of these people, take them to Boston, chuck them in a room with relatives of the victims, and let them explain to them that the bombings were faked and they were all actors!

What's worse is some of the conspiracy sites have had their claims reported in foreign reports under headlines like "FBI bombed Boston Marathon", as they think these conspiracy sites are actual accredited news sites.

People are unfortunately gullible. I could start a webpage stating that the Boston Bombings were carried out by Russian Secret Service to gain US resentment against Chechnya, present some photos of people saying "See? They have the classic hair-cuts used by members of the Spetsnaz!" and I would have thousands of people believe it!

Well that's some good news!

People who get paranoid about this have to remember for every 9/11, 7/7, or Boston, there are dozens, if not hundreds, of plots averted either by people being caught or security throwing a spanner in the works of their plans.

Hey the little punk finally confessed, turns out they planned on going to new york next and apparently they did not operate alone. It is currently unsaid why they attacked and who the others involved are but be on the look out.
