The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hope you don't mind but I've saved these for reference for my build.

Indeed a work of art.
What paint did you use for the chest plate?

How is the mix of steel and resin working out when you carry it connected to the arm for a long time?
Background: On my side even for the lighter GA I moved to a ball joint (for 20 kg load) to make sure that nothing breaks once carried on the steady arm.

Frank

The matt smart gun is lighter then the GA smart gun. Matt put the mount in a perfect spot to distribute the weight. I only have the gun bolted together with the screws provided. It still has a little wiggel. I have to glue it together and pin it or something and rescrew it together to make it uber strong.

Is matsu's smart gun lighter then the GA smart gun _even_ with the metal parts? Wow.
The M56A gets better and better every time. :)

At least this make the GA a good training M56A for me.

Awesome setup you have there! How long did you have to wait to get your parts from matsuo if you don't mind me asking?
