That's pretty awesome Charlie. I've been itching to make one for a year but I was trying too hard to replicate Hudson's actual kit which is an excercise in frustration as it isn't hardly even shown on screen yet we have the one fantastic auction photo of it. I'm glad to see an awesome kit that isn't afraid to be it's own thing. I love the name tapes on the outside. Cool idea!
One comment: what is your plan for carrying this? Hudson's clipped to his belt, but was smaller than yours. Will you keep yours in a pouch perhaps?
I have two thoughts on where to carry it. One, it will fit in the large pouch I have for my belt. It's not heavy at all so sag wouldn't be too much of a problem. The other option is putting a bracket on the back and carrying it on the armor. The Tech manual says those hooks are used for backpacks and/or additional equipment. I don't know if i will do that, and I have to wait to get the armor for measurements, but it's a thought. I don't know how secure it will be on those.

Haha, Charlie, looks like we hit the same sellers on eBay! I plan on getting that meter too! haha
Awesome build!
Thanks Moosh! Your screen grabs were the inspiration. And I actually got most of the parts off Amazon. The meter was $5 with free shipping there. Couldn't beat that deal.
The meter is 2.75"x5"x0.9". It's model DT830B. I am almost considering removing the internal completely and making it thinner. But I need a scroll saw to do that properly and I don't have one.
