The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

There is such a ribbon. It was issued in 2011. It will have a multiple in 2016.

Well, that is a recognition of the anniversary of the film's release, not the cononical extension of the Aliens universe involving Legacy members. I'd say that is not the same thing, but understand this puts me in a awkward place as I'm one of the folks who would be getting this award. I think Moosh meant something like the Dropzone Copernicus award, recognizing the small number of folks who participated in that project.

Which reminds me, why isn't there one like that for the folks who took part in Darren's Aliens: Epilogue?

There are alot of people who participated in the project who didnt get their names in the game.

Is appearing in the game not reward enough?

I agree with Rich most who appear in the game was a luck of the draw, there was nothing to merit an award per say.

Appearing in the game is absolutely reward enough. I asked for the recruiting award as that seemed to cover it and Dom agreed. But wasn't appearing in Dropzone Copernicus (geographically) "luck of the draw" too? And again why isn't there one for Aliens: Epilogue? Not trying to pad my ribbon bar here, just looking for a little clarification.

Luinsar's suggestion is pretty cool is it would include everyone who participated right down the line to the day the game was released.

Retro got my meaning, again, I didn't mean to come off as "Padding my ribbon bar" either haha. I didn't even know I was "in" (technically just my name, as my "character" looks nothing like me) until a few weeks after release, when I actually bumped into Klassen while playing with my brother haha. I can tell you that I was floored, and no little ribbon can match that feeling. I honestly totally forgot that some people never got mentioned who helped with the game. Sorry!

I think that it would be fantastic to commemorate everyone involved in the making and marketing of the game, which would include those not actually mentioned. I believe everyone mentioned and not mentioned has provided the developers with knowledge, support, physical labour, and most importantly, their time. That is worth meritting, to me. How often do fans get to help out on such a grand scale?

I didn't know that the Recruiting Ribbon was created for the game, so I am thrilled about that, and that it does indeed sort of pay tribute to people. But I personally LOVE Luinsars suggestion as well!
