The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Looking good!
A transparent lens would mean you could add somekind of Display/VFX inside the Slide viewer.
Just a thought: Perhaps you can share the inner dimensions so that people can start looking for the right gadget here.

For those who keep thinking they can fit a phone into the Tracker. Here's a pic of the Tracker lens on top of an iPhone 4S. As you can see, in order to get an iPhone in there, you would need to double the size of the Slide Viewer on the kit, which would just be HUGE!!!

And I just fixed the button in the store. So the Tracker kits are live. I also just fixed up the instructions page for it.

At no point did I think I could fit the iphone under the Hama. I suggested building a new larger screen (Tracker 2.0) that could be plug and play. They upgrade phones and equipment all the time...I can't imagine that in the USCM they wouldn't do the same. And the 4s isn't really that huge. This will just be the seeing impaired version...:)

All purchased! Paypal sent Spat. Can't wait to get it! I will detail the V2 screen as well. I think it will still look great. Especially seeing as it will function. It will be something similar to this picture I found but more compact. The one shown in the picture can be made much smaller.

The big problem I have with me making a new version of the Viewer to fit a phone is that there are SOOOOOOOO many different types of phones to make it fit. If you're willing to send me a new, unopened, working model of each phone you would like it to fit, I'll see what I can do.

Otherwise, it's going to be super tough.

Um... I'm pretty sure he's talking about making it himself to fit his phone specifically.

Great stuff Spatman, I know in the near future my wife will kill me because I plan on giving you a nice chunk of change. I've been wanting to buy your armor and acouple kits for over 10 years now, hope to finally have the money soon though. Great work

You took the words right out of my mouth, only i might have to wait a bit longer. My fiancee and i are saving up for our wedding so once we get stable with our finances and our pending move is set in stone, then i can revisit the subject...maybe. Until the day comes, i guess i can settle for just my BDUs for the time being (found out today my pants actually fit better since i dropped some weight so thats good for me, get to use them longer, haha).

I said it once, and ill say it again, Spat you do amazing work.

That's a scratch build by 101 over at theRPF, he used styrene, and a cheap mini camera tripod. I'm pretty sure he even wrote the MT app on the phone in the pic (it's been updated since and totaly rocks).

I know how that goes, the original BDU's I had got throw out by a 'friend', along whith my Star Wars outfit. Luckily all the patches werent sewn on, still got some. Got new BDU pants and my 'Peace through...' shirt and my battle damaged Pulse Rifle.

Good luck with your wedding and moving, both can be stressful, hope it all goes according to plan.
