I had to tweak some things so apologies to those who saw
and participated in this thread for all of an hour before I
deleted it last time.

PROPOSAL:

I:

The EZBoard system has been fine for a number of years now,
but the functionality compared to newer forum systems is
lacking.

II: With the agreement of the community, we propose to
move the Aliens Legacy forums to a dedicated server with it's
own domain name. This will make it easier for users to get to
the site (IE: typing alienslegacy.com as opposed to
p220.ezboard.com/sthealienslegacyfrm.etc.etc) as well as
newcomers.

III: The forum style and content will remain the same or
similar. The archives for example can be reorganized making
topic searches easier. The SEARCH function will actually work.
There may also be dedicated storage locations for images and
the like.

IV: Since members of the moderating team felt the members
should get a voice as to if we pursue this action or not, I'll
put it to you, the members. Please vote using one of the
following choices...

A) I think it's a bad idea to leave EZboard and the Aliens
Legacy should stay the same as it is.

B) I think we should make another Aliens Legacy forum with
the new software as described above.

I would love it if the search function worked. Hopefully this would also get us around the YUKU Bulls**t as well.
