:delta: hey all I just pulled out this old harness that i had laying around. I suspect that they used this type of gear for the armor in the movie. Looking for confermation. Any thoughts on canablizing it to go with my armor build?

thanks, for that info. Do you know any thing about the airsoft pulse rifle replicas? I'm watching a couple of them on ebay now. just need the money to actually buy one, but would like to know more about them.

Devildog917 the straps that hold the grenades on the front of the armor in the movie are made from Vietnam era H suspenders (LICE). You have a pair of Y suspenders (ALICE) it's a later set.
They are not the same lol.

Actually, the straps on the front of the armor were purpose made for the the movie and did not use any existing suspenders. That being said, use whatever works for you.

SgtEasterly, thanks for that info. I think I'm going to scrap using that harness I have and see what I can find around town. Canabalize what I can, heck the old banged up helmet liner that my father gave me was a good find for a uscm m10 helmet will work great for a base.

I have several damaged and ruined M56 suspenders ("Vietnam 'H' suspenders") if anyone wants them for costuming. cheap cheap cheap.
