The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hey all, I'm Paul, I'm 25, and I'm from Cumbria, United Kingdom. I've been a fan of the Alien movies almost all my life, I the first one I saw was Aliens back in 91, around the same time T2 came out which is also one of my favorite movies of all time. I'm currently working on putting together a Colonial Marine suit, my prefered weapon of choice will be the M41A Pulse Rifle. :D

Taj!! <3 She DOES love cookies but oddly enough, was ever so kind to GIVE SOME AWAY (those were great btw).

I need to figure out all the cons that are in the vicinity of the MidWest. My cousin lives in Knoxville...so if I went to this thing I could just drive about 5 or 6 hours and then stay at his place. Hmm...

Ragu is another member of the Colonial Fleet family and a great guy. He should fit in here with the rest of the asylum just fine. :)

Thanks! Honcho and I missed you this year, glad you're coming in 2013.

Ya know, whenever I think to myself how unfortunate I was to have been born in Minnesota, I think about how grateful I am that I wasn't born in Wisconsin.

Hi,
My name is Andrew. I was told about this forum by a user on The RPF. I've always enjoyed watching Aliens growing up as a child, because of The Marines. The camouflage, the armour, and of course there weaponry.

If anybody has questions, or would like to introduce yourselves. Feel free to send me a private message, or comment. I'll be sure to post more information on my information.

Thank You,
Andrew

Hey everyone!

I'm a Norwegian fellow who has been doing movie costumes for about three years now. Being heavily invested in the 501st and Star Wars costumes for most of that time I have only recently begun to fan out and explore other options as well. My primary project at the moment is a screen accurate P1 Predator, and with my reignited interest for these guys I also "rediscovered" the Alien films, falling in love all over again. Prior to this the Colonial Marine costumes never really did register much with me, now I'm absolutely dying to do one.

Cheers!

Hello everybody, my name is Todd "Hippie" McCabe. I am an airsofter living here in Georgia, USA. I so far only have a 1st Cavalry Division, 1970/71 impression for airsoft, but I'm always looking for something unique to take to the field and the more impractical, the better. Unfortunately the price of some of this stuff, particularly the reproduction uniforms, is very expensive, and therefore, they aren't very... skirmish-able. Also, since I plan to use this, even outdoors, I think I'm planning on doing a recon kit - to keep it light and cool. I'm not quite sure if I want to get a M41A Pulse Rifle, there were M16A1s (which I have) in the Sulaco's armory, and the airsoft P.R.s kinda look like unskirmishable pieces of crap.

So, that's me - in a nutshell!

Greetings my fellow Aliens Fans.

My name is Mike, and I am an avid Aliens fan.

I guess this is the part where I fly my geek flag;
Since I was a kid, I've seen the films more times than I'd care to count, played all of the games, read all of the novels & comic books, and have collected all of the action figures (yes, they are still in storage).

Now-a-days;
I am a film student attending the program at UCF. I am an entertainment technician at a local theme park. I am also an aspiring writer and film maker. In the past I've tried to use my creativity to write fan fiction and expanded universe topics and critiques. Recently I've been pursuing publication for some original works.
